European Wool Camp

Wat was het gezellig vorig jaar!

We zijn blij om te kunnen mededelen dat er ook dit jaar een European Wool Camp georganiseerd wordt.

Het Wool Camp zal plaatsvinden van woensdag 2 augustus tot en met dinsdag 8 augustus 2023. Ook dit jaar zijn we weer welkom op de Camping “De Twee Provinciën” in Elsloo.

Wool Camp is een gezellig samen zijn voor iedereen met een passie voor wol!

Je geeft je op, en betaald een klein bedrag zodat wij workshop tenten op de camping kunnen plaatsen. Verder ben je vrij om te gaan en te staan waar je wilt.

Je kunt zelf een plekje op de camping boeken of bij een accomodatie in de buurt. Of je gaat s avonds lekker naar huis. Je bepaalt zelf of je 1 dag komt of gezellig de hele week. Het inschrijfged blijft gelijk.

Je bepaalt zelf of je een of meerdere workshops boekt. Dit doe je bij de workshop gevers zelf.

Half mei worden de workshops bekend. Deze zijn tegen die tijd te vinden op de workshop pagina

Workshops vinden in principe 's ochtends plaats op de donderdag, vrijdag, zaterdag, maandag en dinsdag. De middagen en avonden zijn voor de deelnemers vrij te besteden dus neem je spinnewiel of je breiwerkje mee. Op zondag zijn er geen workshops vanwege de wollig landleven markt in het naast gelegen Zorgvlied.

Er is ruimte voor 50 deelnemers dus geef je optijd op!

European Wool Camp

We had such a good time last year! So we are happy announce there will be a wool camp this year.

Wool Camp will take place from Wednesday the 2nd until Tuesday the 8th of August. Again we are welcome at the camp site of Camping “De Twee Provinciën” in Elsloo, Friesland, the Netherlands..

Wool Camp is a gathering for all with a passion for wool!

If you would like to join us you need to register and pay a small fee of 25 euros. This will give us the means to put up workshop tents and tables on the campsite and serve coffee during workshops.

You can book your own stay at the campsite or another accommodation in the area. You are free to decide how long you would like to stay. Will you join us for a day or stay the whole week?

You decide if you would like book a workshop. The workshop schedule will be released in the middle of May and you can book workshops directly with the workshop leader.

There will be workshops every morning, except Sunday. The afternoons and evenings are free to spend however you like. Explore the area or stay at the campsite to spin or knit with fellow wool enthusiasts! Don’t forget to bring your spinning wheel if you have one! On Sunday there is a market in the nearby village Zorgvlied.
